As a part of the ADARSH philosophy of caring for the environment and helping the citizens. A campaign to clean the Sites are conducted on 15 August of every Year along with labour and staff members.
“Save Environment, Serve Society and Spread Happiness”, WALKs are organized by the PUNJAB Region at ROSE GARDEN to create Environmental Awareness.
Alcoholism is one of the major concern areas at construction site labour camps. SPCL has been taking steps to educate the workers about the ill effects of alcoholism. ASCL Pune Region has taken the assistance of NGO–Muktangan – to conduct an Awareness Program for 800 workers at TCS site to educate them about the negative effects of this habit. Workers actively participated by asking questions during the session.
ASCL has been participating in such events and on the occasion of 6th World Organ Donation Day on 27 November 2010, the company participated with a slogan “Organ Donation – A Gift for Life”. It was held under the aegis of WHO and the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It was held at India Gate for a mass awareness campaign and our employees took part along with their families.
ADARSH organis the regular free eye testing camps for the benefit of construction workers. Such camps were organized at M.G Gold Site in Mandi Gobindgarh by the Ludhiana Region. The company distributed 200 pairs of spectacles to workers free of cost. The camp was attended by 821 workers, where vision testing was performed by Opthalmic team and patients with infection or other problems were prescribed medicines.
ADARSH has been rendering help to the underprivileged children in various forms. The Chandigarh Region conducted Football Match for “Underprivileged Children” from schools in the age group of 10 to 15 years. Six teams from various govt. schools of Ludhiana participated in the event.
